More about Chrome Extensions – InsertLearning
I hope that you had the time to try the VoiceInstead or any other Chrome extension. After publishing the previous blog, I kept thinking i the way these extensions are making my students learning more engaging than a simple lesson, and how it is enhancing their knowledge. Looking over these extensions took me to discover a very cool Chrome extension that blew my mind! It is InsterLearning.
IndertLearning is an extension that works in a very unexpected way. It creates the most amazing online reading lesson that you can imagine. After you install the extension, it asks to sign up, which you could do with your Google account. After, it gives you a tour of how you can use it and make you create your lesson step-by-step. Once you are done, a video pops up to provide you with information related to how to create, save, and share your lesson with your students; how to create different classes and input students manually; and finally, how to share your experience and what your students need to have in order to see it.
So, how does it work? Once you have the extension, you can activate it to create a lesson on any webpage that you would like to use for that given lesson. You can insert notes with a video of you giving specific instructions, insert questions, and discussion topics! Then assign it to a class and share! All the answers will be recorded in a Dashboard for you to review later. I am using it, and it is a very well done extension.

Hi Kennia
Great point! I really like this extensions. I think that it can be beneficial for asynchronous learning. Teachers only need to find the materials they want to show to their students, highlight something and leave comments, and then assign it to a class and share. Students can see all the things that teachers left just by getting into the dashboard. I think it simplifies many work of teachers and students.
Hello there,
It is so true. When I found this extension, I first thought that it will be hard to use or understand by students, but after using it with my adult learners I found that the key is to use appropiate materials that matches students needs. It is fun, engaging, and usefult for students. Thank you for your comment.
This is a great post! I find it awesome that you use these extensions to make your students more engaged in learning. I think this is an awesome way to manage an online reading assignment!
Wow! I never heard of IndertLearning before. It's amazing. I am definitely going to use it. Thanks for posting such interesting blog.
Thank you Adams! I hope that you can try this too some time in the future.
Hi! Michal, I am glad you like this extension. You were asking on the discussion board for some games for language learners; this could be an exciting way you can make your learners interact with some of the languages they are learning from you. You will need to find a web page that contains plan language, so it is easier at first, but it could be very powerful. If you try, let me know.
I am glad you like it and may be able to use it in the future. Thanks!
Well, now you have it! I am glad that you can see the use of this extension in your instruction. Thank you for commenting.

One other thing I would like to say is that in place of trying to match all your online degree programs on days of the week that you end work (because most people are fatigued when they get home), try to arrange most of your instructional classes on the week-ends and only a few courses in weekdays, even if it means taking some time away from your weekend break. This is really good because on the weekends, you will be a lot more rested along with concentrated upon school work. Thanks a lot for the different points I have discovered from your blog site.
Wow, fantastic blog format! How long have you been blogging for? you make running a blog glance easy. The overall look of your website is wonderful, let alone the content material!
I have read a few good stuff here. Certainly worth bookmarking for revisiting. I wonder how much effort you put to create such a wonderful informative site.
